Designs with Superkink | S26. BLA STATION

In 2010 we revolutionized tubular steel furniture with our introduction of Straw chair. 2013 Straw’s big brother arrived on the scene! Like all older brothers, Superkink is bigger, stronger, full of self-confidence and will do anything to defend his siblings. What makes Superkink unique is the way in which the tubular steel has been deformed. Instead of forming the frame in gentle bends, the designers Osko + Deichmann have folded the steel tubes.

Motivated by the pleasure of what we are doing, we continue to develop new products. But for us, it isn´t enough that a product has never been shown before. For it to be considered new, it must be able to demonstrate a new attitude towards shape, function, material or the industrial production process. New furniture should be better at something and offer an alternative to what is already available.
